"4th Toughest Man on Planet Earth"
After six decades, mixed martial artist and coach, Stan "The Steamer" Peterec is still ready to go the distance — and this time, it’s taking him to a shot at a Guinness World Record.
At 66, this Canadian kickboxing legend has built his life around the ring. Now, training for the most audacious fight of his career, he's confronting a new challenger: his own body. Recovery takes longer. The risks are real. The fight commission's requirements seem unending. And the question he's been outrunning for years is finally catching up — how long can he keep doing this?
This film explores Stan's journey from the playground in a small Vancouver Island town to the heights of World Championship matches. It challenges him, and all of us to ask: what is the greater cost to an aging fighter - getting back in that ring, or not giving it one last shot? Where is the line between courage and pride in this age-driven sport? For Stan, he has decided to prove to himself and the world, that age doesn’t have to be a disqualifier – it can be a reckoning. Discover if this weathered warrior can still be considered…one of the toughest men on planet earth.
